Welcome to the Night Gallery
When I made the decision to open a gallery on the Elusive Fish dot com, there were two memories that flashed through my mind. The first was from an old-style radio program - a theatre of the mind type deal - in which the host would urge the listeners to close their eyes and to open their mind. The second was a televised, horror program; the theme of which was a gallery in which the paintings would serve to set the stage for that night's tale of the macabre. Oddly enough, Rod Serling was the host for both programs.
Neither memory really has much to do with my own gallery or my particular brand of art. I can't really urge you to close your eyes as it would defeat the purpose of a gallery, and while each work in here has a story, none are really macabre and only a few are actually interesting. But the thoughts have persisted and so I share and you can make of it all what you will.
Explore. Enjoy. Feel free to pass comment or judgement on the works within. The Night Gallery awaits...
