Tragic Blogs or
Starscream's Revenge

September 9th, 2003

Shortly after my print comic, Arcana bit the dust, I turned my pen to a couple of short, semi-autobiographical vignettes. Starscream's Revenge was a black & white mini-comic, printed at Pics Plus with an overwhelming print run of fifty copies. These I managed to sell off to friends, associates and to the few people I could pawn them off to at a local gallery showing. I recall my former art teacher purchasing one and proceeding to colour it in with watercolours. At the time I was a little taken aback... the defacing of literature is somewhat taboo for me, but that's for another blog ...but now that I'm beginning to colour it myself, I see what the attraction was. I would have to say that this was some of my strongest inking. Nice, crisp line work that easily lends itself to colouring.

This is a bit of an experiment for me, the whole regularly updating thing. I'm not sure how well the work comes across in a serialized form - especially when serialized one panel at a time - so please let me know what you think. Do you prefer a regular update or to get a complete tale whenever it's available? Drop me a line and let me know.

Just a reminder that Thursday will see the start of the next regularly updating story, Monster in the Closet.
