Folks,don’t be talking down on comics. Y’know the squinty look bloggers get when a journo talks bad ’bout blogs? Well that’s me with comics. #
ran out of characters so couldn’t fit in the obligatory smiley at the end of the last tweet. Here it is now. #
Can anyone confirm for me if Doc Horrible soundtrack is DRM free? I really do want to support the artists and buy legit - but not if DRM’d. #
I’ve a small handful of iTunes and Puretracks purchased tunes that are forever borkd because I no longer have the accompanying license file. #

Personally I think (c) should require renewing AND registration. The initial cost should be $1. Every 5yrs you need to renew. But… #
…the cost to renew (c) should increase by a factor of 10 on each renewal. $10 at yr 5. $100 at yr 10. $1000 at yr 15. And so on… #
…eventually the cost to renew would outstrip the economic value of the work and it will slip into the public domain. #
That would take care of the orphan works problem, would make it a snap to see if something’s (c) or not and track down the rights holder. #

Discovered I can drag a tab from FireFox3 into another window of FF3. Very handy on my dual monitor setup where I oft. have multi FFs open. #
