- @Stephen_GM but even still, the point is clear … lightbulbs are superiorly more efficient (+more sustainable) means of light than candles. #
- @Stephen_GM rechecked - a candle produces 10.69g of CO2 per hr. A candle equivilent of electric light produces only 1.11 g of CO2 per hr. #
- @Stephen_GM and that calculation is assuming 80% coal produced electricity.Here in ON where we have nuke + hydro, that CO2 fig.would be less #
